The opportunity to partner with home buyers in the purchase of their future home is one of the most rewarding and exciting parts of what we do. Home buying can also be a very intimidating and scary decision. It is absolutely vital that buyers find an agent that is not only knowledgeable and experienced, but also trustworthy.

•    Pre-qualification:  Not sure how much you can afford?  Take advance of online prequalification or simply contact a mortgage loan officer.  By going through the loan application process you are better prepared to start shopping and making that final decision.

•    House Hunting: When looking for your new home, take a few moments to consider a few things. Not only will you be looking at condition of the home and if your furniture will fit into the living room, but also think about neighborhood, school zones, proximity to your employment, future neighborhood expansion.

•    Making an offer: when you have found that property that you want to call home, your JRE agent will guide you through the offer process.  At the time of the offer you will need to provide earnest money to the seller.  This is not an extra payment; it merely is a deposit that shows the seller that you are serious about the offer.  Generally the money is deposited in the listing agents trust account until the time of close and come as a credit to you. Other considerations will be determining closing and possession date and inspections. You will also need to provide a lender commitment letter that lets the seller know you are a qualified buyer.
